Training

The ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·¸£ÀûµçÓ°Íø of the Registrar provides training opportunities which cover all of the topics listed above and more. 

We offer one on one or group virtual training sessions by request. Please fill out the Registrar Services Training Request form and indicate which area you are interested in. 

FERPA Training

Many faculty and staff will need to get FERPA certified in order to access some panels in MAUI and other services. Please review information on FERPA training for faculty and staff.

Each session is identified by a specific session code which is used by various processes on campus.

MAUI Access and Roles

Many faculty and staff will need access to MAUI to perform actions related to the ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·¸£ÀûµçÓ°Íø of the Registrar.

Faculty and Staff Correspondence

Emails are the primary mode of mass communications to faculty and staff regarding upcoming dates, deadlines, and any changes to policies or procedures. 

All faculty and staff with a 50 percent or greater permanent appointment and post-doctoral scholar are eligible to audit one University of Iowa course per session without being assessed tuition and mandatory fees

Student Academic Services Users Group

The ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·¸£ÀûµçÓ°Íø of the Registrar hosts quarterly meetings discussing important topics relating to course offerings, grades, student records and registration. 

Instructional Facilities Governance Report

The ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·¸£ÀûµçÓ°Íø of the Registrar needs assistance in verification of course data in order to fulfill our yearly obligation to the Iowa Board of Regents.
